IRONBOARD PRODUCTION FACILITIES
The Ironboard company only works with certified foundries at the highest levels and equipped with the most up-to-date production facilities, leveraging the latest technological improvements to ensure customers are always satisfied.
Our relationship of mutual trust both with foundries and with customers has enabled us to optimize times and simplify work processes, thus helping companies to develop their sales organization in new markets.
MELTING SHOP
- JUNKER induction furnaces, with a capacity of 14 tons each.
- ABB induction furnaces with a capacity of 10 tons each.
- Holding furnaces, each with a capacity of 45 tons.
The moulding lines are in turn equipped with automatic casting furnaces with a capacity ranging from 7 to 10 tons.
CORE SHOP & PATTERN SHOP
The main production of cores uses the “cold-box system” and “hot-box system”, capable of producing cores from 10 gr. up to 50 kg. The main facilities are: EUROCORE, MAXICORE, COREBLOWER, DISAMATIC.
As for complex cores, they are assembled, painted, dried and inserted into the brackets with special equipment.
Regarding patterns, every foundry produces the models internally with the most advanced technologies.

- Disa 2013 with motta dimensions: 600 x 480 mm
- Disa 2013 with motta dimensions: 600 x 470 mm
LOST FOAM
One of the foundries we work with in particular is equipped with a specific plant for the “Lost-Foam” casting process, providing a set of useful production capabilities otherwise unavailable.
MOULDING LINES
Foundries have the following facilities:
- Herman molding line (USA) bracket dimensions: 610 x 457 x (152 + 152) mm
- BMD forming line with bracket dimensions: 700 x 600 x (250 + 200) mm
- Fritz Hansberg (Italy) forming line with stirrup dimensions: 900 x 700 x (250 + 200) mm
- Kunkel Wagner forming line with stirrup dimensions: 900 x 800 x (250 + 300) mm
- BMD forming line (Germany) with bracket dimensions: 900 x 700 x (300 + 300) mm
- HWS forming line with dimensions: 1000 x 1000 x (350 + 350) mm
- George Fischer molding line (Germany) with bracket dimensions: 1400 x 900 x (400 + 400) mm
